Feeling nostalgic about 2010?

The Wynkoop Brewing Company, 1634 18th Street, will help you relive the good times by cracking open a keg of all 35 beers that the brewery made over the course of the year when the second annual Beers of the Year event takes place Saturday from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The beers include year-round standards, one-off specials and seasonal specialties that have been stored in the basement, says Wynkoop spokesman Marty Jones. "We don't get teary-eyed or anything, but it's nice to get one last taste of them."

The practice of walking by those kegs every day has been torture, he adds, but head brewer Andy Brown has occasionally taken out the sampling stick to monitor their process.

As for the wide selection, Jones says, "We are luring back people who drifted away over the years, people who thought that maybe we were getting predictable. If you haven't been in the Wynkoop in a while, your impression is probably inaccurate."

Tickets are available for $20 (and include unlimited sampling) at www.wynkoop.com or at the doors. You can also buy a pack of five tickets for $5, if you want to skip the doors price and just try a few brews.
