Ah, Bastille Day -- the annual French commemoration of the 1790 Fête de la Fédération. And because we Americans love any reason to indulge in excess, why not celebrate Bastille Day right here in Denver? Some Bastille Day fun:

The Alliance Française de Denver, 571 Galapago Street, is holding an open house from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. this morning, with free coffee, croissants and other French pastries -- and maybe even some cultural contributions.
