At 6 p.m. tonight, the original Cru Wine Bar, 1442 Larimer Street, is hosting an Australian wine tasting with grape guru Stephen Chambers, whose collection of fortified Australian wines will be paired with dishes from Cru exec chef, Erasmo Casiano.

The four-course dinner, priced at $65 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, includes crab and prawn gazpacho, pepper-seared duck breast, vanilla-rubbed rack of lamb and (of course) dessert. If you want to hang out until the clock strikes midnight and you Twitter, then you can also take advantage of half-priced pizzas between midnight and 1 a.m. For all the details on that, or to make reservations for the wine tasting, call 303-893-9463.
