The annual Plates for the Peak fundraiser, tonight at Vesta Dipping Grill, 1822 Blake Street, is a delicious highlight of the summer fundraising scene, featuring contributions by many of Denver's top chefs.

From 6 to 10 p.m., enjoy small plates created by Brian Laird (Barolo Grill), Keegan Gerhard (D Bar Desserts), Tyler Wiard (Elway's), Sheila Lucero (Jax Fish House), Brendon Doyle (Jonesy's EatBar) -- and the list goes on. There will also be specialty cocktails by Ketel One, music by DJ K-Nee, visual and performance art by Urban Peak youth and a silent auction.

And Plates at the Peak should also feature the debut appearance of the Steuben's Food Service truck, a pet project of Vesta/Steuben's owner Josh Wolkon, which Laura Shunk details in this Westword cover story.

Tickets to Plates for the Peak are just $65 and going fast; to find out if any are still available, go to www.urbanpeak.org.
