The weather won't be so blazing hot today, so it will be a fine time to get outdoors and enjoy some good food and good company. Civic Center Eats is going strong from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Civic Center Park, and there's now a new option down south:
The FOODIES Festival Market, which kicked off on June 5, will launch its Thursday market today. The outdoor, artisanal food and lifestyle market will feature food, craft beer and wine, fine art and crafts, live music, family activities and more in a suburban setting. You can now check out FOODIES at Belleview Station, 6770 East Chenango Avenue, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. To sweeten the deal, every week the market will work with a local nonprofit partner to donate a portion of sales. The market will run through the end of October.
