McDonald's is celebrating the thirtieth birthday of the Happy Meal by bringing back a favorite Happy Meal toy: Ty Teenie Beanie Babies. The happy chain kicked off its four-week celebration this weekend in Minneapolis, which McDonald's has named the "Happiest City for Families," based on such "family-fun criteria" as the number of social activities, recreational resources and household expenditures on fun activities.

That's bad news for Denver, which considers itself pretty fun. But as reported here Friday, this city ranks sixth on the "Happiest Cities for Families" roster.

Happily, even if we were dead last, a Colorado customer would still be able to get one of thirty special Teenie Beanie Baby toys with a Happy Meal purchase through August 13. For all the gaggalicious details, go to www.happymeal.com.
