Ever since the City of Denver began enforcing existing no-dog rules at local breweries, craft-beer lovers have been just a little lonely without their four-legged friends. The folks at
Declaration Brewing (2030 South Cherokee Street) decided to take matters into their own paws by rebuilding their outdoor seating area with separate access for pooches so dog owners wouldn't have to cut through the taproom (a strict no-no) to get to the patio. Now Declaration is one of the most pet-friendly destinations in town — and customers don't have to leave their sheep dogs, schnauzers and Scotties behind when they step out for a cold brew. Here's opening day of the brewery's new patio.
