On August 8, Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez, Governor John Hickenlooper, Colorado House Speaker Crisanta Duran and Colorado Democratic Party head Morgan Carroll joined health-care providers, patients and local activists on the steps of the State Capitol to rally for health care. This was one of more than 170 Drive for Our Lives events in 43 states, all asking members of Congress to listen to constituents before voting on any future changes to the Affordable Care Act.
