"Standing in an empty parking lot four years ago, I never dreamed that we'd be so successful, or that the city would embrace the Justice League they way it did," reflects Delores Tronco, who, along with a entrepreneurial cartel of committed chefs, restaurateurs and street-food slingers, started the Justice League of Street Food in 2009, blazing the way for food trucks all over the city.
On Saturday, the Justice League hosted its last street-food shindig at 3459 Ringsby Court, in the parking lot of the TAXI development. "We want to go out on a high note, as opposed to just fading into irrelevance, or putting on events that we can no longer be proud of," Tronco said last week.
