If your heart goes all aflutter at the mere mention of sugar, and if desserts are your conscience-stricken obsession, then you're probably already aware that the sweets at Il Posto are rapturous. And if you're like a lot of people who live and die by confections, you likely go to Il Posto and demand two desserts, even if there's only one of you, because, well, they're just so freaking good. And if you should happen to be at Il Posto on an evening when the panna cotta graces the dolci menu, then you should consider yourself luckier than a convict who escapes a maximum security prison and lives the duration of his life in Aruba. Il Posto's panna cotta, deliriously rich with Greek yogurt and cooked cream, is draped with salted, buttery caramel, wreathed with candied orange rings and slightly sweet biscuit crumbles and then boosted -- not that it needs it -- by a duo of fizzy, housemade blood orange sodas poured in cordial glassware. Next time, I won't be persuaded to share.

In late 2009, we embarked on a culinary journey that took us through our favorite dishes in the Mile High City -- one hundred, to be exact. Now we're back with round two, counting down (in no particular order) a hundred more of our favorite Denver dishes in a list that, by our imperfect calculations, should be wrapped up...before Best of Denver® 2012. If there's a dish you think we need to try, tell us about it in the comments section below, or shoot us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
