Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
On Sunday, a troop of independent Denver restaurants -- all of which are members of EatDenver -- will congregate in the parking lot of Union Station as part of The Big Eat, a circus-themed culinary orgy that also includes plenty of libations from local brewers and distillers, as well as jugglers, clowns and face painters.
The soiree is completely sold out, but we're giving one Cafe Society reader two free tickets to eat, drink and play, and after more than forty comments from y'all telling us why you should be the chosen one, we have a champion:
Congrats to Chomp, who chimed in with this limerick:
Send me to the Big Eat It would be quite the treat To enjoy all the food While in a good mood On my vegetarian diet I shall cheat
Thanks for playing!
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
