Denver Restaurant Week(s) gets under way tomorrow, with more than 300 metro-area grub houses offering one of the best culinary deals of the year: multi-course meals for the fixed price of $52.80 for two, or $26.40 if you're solo, excluding tax and gratuity.

And because we believe that everyone should take advantage of the food orgy that's going to take over the city until March 9, we've been giving Cafe Society readers the opportunity to win some cold, hard cash to spend.

In our last contest, we asked you to tell us about your favorite dining den taking part in Denver Restaurant Week -- and why it's your favorite. The winner walks away with $52.80 to spend at any restaurant participating in DRW.

And...we have a champion.

Congrats to PolarBeer, who submitted these winning words:

Upon ol' South Broadway, a summer night so steamy. Amid sultry rockers and hipsters; none mean-y. Through Woodsley's door, I'd have "just one more"... BECALM M'EYES! - a'place more sexy than whisky!

PolarBeer, please send an e-mail with your contact info to [email protected], and we'll be back in touch with details about how to claim your prize.

And just so you all know, we'll he holding more Denver Restaurant Week contests, so keep your eyes on the blog. In the meantime, you can look at the menus of the participating restaurants on the Denver Restaurant Week website.
