So, that friendly little contest we've been rolling out over the past week -- the one where we were giving away free tickets to EatDenver's Harvest Week pre-party at Balistreri Vineyards on Sunday, August 15? That contest has concluded and we have our fifty lucky-ducky winners, ten from each day that we posed a question about Colorado's backyard bounty.
If your name is on the list after the jump, then you can finally congratulate yourself on winning something the honest,old-fashioned way. Seriously, thanks to all of you who wrote comments and recommendations. They were full of useful information, and we'll repost some of the best comments next week.
In the meantime, those of you who scored a ticket (remember, you can bring one guest) can pick it up at the front desk at Westword, 969 Broadway, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today. If you've got things to do, like work, and can't swing by the office but still want to attend the party, shoot us an e-mail at email@example.com with your full name and e-mail address and we'll figure out a way to make sure you don't get left out.
By the way, if you posted a comment that landed in the first ten more than once, you didn't win twice.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
