UPDATE:

We have three winners of our Wings & Whiskey contest, in which we asked Cafe Society readers to answer this question: How many tiger wings did Ace serve between Sunday, June 15 and Sunday, June 22? Congratulations to BigAl, who came the closest with a guess of 1475. Congratulations, too, to NCSeely, who guessed 1460 and Skinney85, who guessed 1450. All three of you came the closest (without going over) to the actual number, which is 1500. We'll be in touch with info about how you can get your tickets.

Original post: VIP tickets to Sunday's Wings & Whiskey battle at Ace, Josh and Jen Wolkon's ping-pong emporium in Uptown, sold out weeks ago, but there are still general admission tickets available to the event, the proceeds of which benefit the Denver Housing Authority's Youth Culinary Academy. And you can win two of those GA tickets right here.

The showdown, which pits ten chefs -- Tyler Wiard (Elway's Cherry Creek); Troy Guard (TAG); Jamey Fader (culinary director of Big Red F/Post Brewing/Good Bird Chicken); Mimi Banish (Osage Café); Matt Selby (Central Bistro & Bar); AJ Ouellette (Fire On The Mountain); Brandon Foster (Vesta Dipping Grill ); Cliff Blauvelt (Steuben's); Chris Medved (Ace) and Brandon Biederman (Ace) -- against one another in a battle that will result in one of those chefs being named the wing king, starts at 4 p.m., and the $45 admission price also includes three drink tickets good for whiskey cocktails and sake, unlimited beer from Great Divide, a Beam Global whiskey booth, live music from the Whiskey Folk, additional food provided by Ace, ice cream from Sweet Action, and the opportunity to enter a charity ping-pong tournament and/or wing eating contest (to enter, it's a $20 donation), the proceeds of which will also benefit the Denver Housing Authority's Youth Culinary Academy.

We encourage you to purchase tickets, but three Cafe Society commenters will also win general admission for themselves and a guest just by entering our contest. Here's what we want to know: How many tiger wings did Ace serve between Sunday, June 15 and Sunday, June 22?

The three commenters who come the closest to the actual number without going over, will each win a pair of tickets. In order to be considered, please submit your answer, your name and a valid e-mail address (if you're already registered with MyVoiceNation, then we have your e-mail; if you're not, then we don't, and without an e-mail address, you can't win) in the comments section below.

We'll announce the winner by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27.
