The Nightclub and Bar Convention & Trade Show (NCB) in Las Vegas in March is the one event that everyone in the industry feels they need to attend -- or wishes they could.

The show includes a cocktail contest called the Shake It Up Competition, in which 25 mixologists, who have been picked from across the world after submitting their most compelling cocktail concoctions, compete for the gold. And Blades of Glory-fashion, Denver has two hometown heroes in the contest.

Sean Kenyon (Steuben's) and Jared Boller (TAG) made the top 25, and will be competing for $15,000 in cash prizes during the Shake It Up 2010 competition on March 9.

The competition will be on the show's exhibit floor, hosted by Francesco Lafranconi of Southern Wine & Spirits, and judged by a panel of top mixologists.

Can't wait to see if they're able to pull off the proverbial triple salchow.
