Monday, November 12:Warm Cookies and Games will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Buntport Theater, 717 Lipan Street. This is the first in a series of discussions and films focusing on community issues in a unique way. Board games and snacks will be provided, but participants can bring their own games. Elway's Downtown, 1881 Curtis Street, is hosting a five-course dinner paired with Glenmorangie Scotch Whiskey tonight at 6:30 p.m.; the night includes a meet-and-greet with Gregor Mina of Glenmorangie. The third annual Grapes to Grads takes place this evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 2575 West Main Street in Littleton (in the space formerly known as Opus). Chef and Brew fills the Oriental Theater, 4335 West 44th Avenue, this evening from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The food and beer festival features beer from Caution Brewing, River North, Crooked Stave, Funkwerks, Our Mutual Friend, Wit's End, Strange Brewing, West Flanders Brewing and Elevation Beer Company. And each brewery will be paired with eats from a local chef: Participating restaurants include Panzano, Studio F, Ghost Plate and Tap, Row14, LaLa's Pizzeria and Wine Bar, Crock Spot and Aria. Tickets are $39 in advance and $49 at the door; check the website to learn more.Thursday, November 15 (continued):The Palm, 1672 Lawrence Street, is hosting a holiday-themed mixology class tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy cocktails and food pairings while learning how to craft their own drinks. The History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, presents a special dinner celebrating local craft beer and its latest exhibit, Denver A to Z, this evening from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will feature a preview of the exhibit and a four-course dinner paired with each course paired with an offering from a different Colorado brewery. Cocktail attire is required and seating is limited. Purchase tickets, which cost $150, here.Friday, November 16:Taxi, 3455 Ringsby Court, is hosting a City Spirit Cafe reunion tonight from 7 to 10 p.m. The one-night party will feature the bar and booths from the original City Spirit -- a popular hangout for artists in LoDo that closed in 1999. DJ K-Nee will provide spins, and Jux County is rumored to be playing a set to close out the evening. Admission is free, but drinks and revived City Spirit snacks are not; go to the Facebook event page for information.
It's National Tolerance Day at Pizza Fusion, 571 East Colfax Avenue.
