Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Trick or treat! Before you head out to collect your candy -- or on your way home from that Halloween party -- Chipotle has a deal for you: From 4 p.m. until closing today, October 31, anyone in costume can get a fullsize burrito, bowl or order of tacos for just $3 at any Chipotle location as part of the annual BOOrito fundraiser.

Proceeds from those $3 sales will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, a non-profit "committed to creating a more sustainable and healthful food supply and to raising awareness of food issues." The goal is to raise a million bucks with this year's BOOrito fundraiser.
And that's no trick. Over the past three years, customers of the Denver-grown Chipotle chain have helped raise more than $3 million for the Cultivate Foundation.
There's nothing scary about that...

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
