Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Misery loves company, and if the National Restaurant Association's annual forecast -- released on Friday, December 19 -- is correct, Coloradans will still be getting out of the house and into restaurants in 2009.
According to the 2009 Restaurant Industry Forecast, Colorado will place third in the country for restaurant sales growth -- up 3.4 percent, to $8.4 billion. Only Texas (up 4 percent) and Nevada (up 3.5 percent) are expected to outpace this state.
