For the past several weeks, we've been following the progress of Colore Pizzeria Moderna, the new pizza and pasta emporium at 2700 South Broadway. And, now, we just got word from co-owner Caroline Momo-Torres, that on Saturday, June 27, the kitchen will start slinging pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and salads seven days a week, beginning at 11 a.m. "We're just having a soft opening," she told me, "you know, trying to make a go of it, but not doing anything special, except preparing our food, which is special."
But, hey, if you're the kind of person who fancies pomp and circumstance, then show up at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 11th for one of those ribbon cutting moments with -- what's his name -- the mayor of Englewood. "That," said Momo-Torres, "will be our kind of a lot of excitement day."
