Coohills in LoDo is hosting the United Kingdom-based Creative Whiskey Company for an informative, four-course whiskey dinner tonight. Creative Whiskey Company owner and founder David Stirk, along with Robert Stickler, a Denver-based Master of Whisky and president and CEO of The Voice of Whisky, will host the dinner, which will showcase four cask-strength single malts. Chef/owner Tom Coohill has crafted the evening's menu to accentuate the complex finishes of the four whiskeys. Roasted Scottish pheasant with truffle mousse and baked apple bread pudding with malted caramel will be among the dishes served. The dinner, which starts at 7 p.m., is $80 per person; if you want to snag one of the few seats left, call Coohills at 303-623-5700. For more information, visit Coohills' site.
