Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
One of the most festive aspects of the Great American Beer Festival is the assortment of hats, shirts, and costumes worn by attendees and vendors. To further beautify those stylish -- and sometimes not so stylish -- duds, most people at GABF hold a beer glass.
If you want to win a pair tickets to the GABF for the Saturday session on September 30, count the glasses in this slide show and leave your final count in the comment section below. We'll pick a winner with the correct answer. If there is more than one correct answer, we'll pick one of the correct answers at random. Remember to leave a valid e-mail address in the e-mail field or in the body of your comment so we can contact you if you're the winner. The contest ends at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 29.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
