Friday, December 7:

The 5th Top Latke Cook-off and Hanukkah Party takes place this evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Montview Presbyterian Church at 1980 Dahlia Street. There will be a dozen expert and amateur chefs competing for the best latke, activities for the kids and a live music performance. The event is open to people of all faiths, but reservations are required; go to the website to learn more about ticket prices.
