Danish dinner and Italian cowboy cuisine tonight

The Scandinavian dinner series at Trillium concludes tonight with an homage to the food of Denmark. Starting at 5 p.m., chef Ryan Leinonen will offer a four-course, pre-fixe meal complete with beverage pairings; tickets are $70, plus tax and gratuity. To reserve a spot, call 303-379-9759.

And in honor of the Stock Show, Parisi Italian Market & Deli is hosting a dinner tonight that highlights the stories of the Butteri Della Maremma -- cowboys from the Maremma region of Tuscany. Legend has it that this group was so badass, the boys showed up Buffalo Bill when he attempted to display his wild West skills. Starting at 6:30, Parisi will be serving a four-course meal inspired by the cuisine of the Maremma region of Italy. Tickets are $35; call 303-561-0234.
