When the clock struck twelve at the end of last year, did you strike out?
Get 2020 off to a much better start with our New Year's Eve Guide, a compilation of hundreds of things to do in and around Denver on December 31, 2019. We're collecting information right now for the supplement, which will highlight special events at local restaurants, bars and other venues, and be inserted in the December 19 issue of Westword.
The deadline for submitting events for consideration is Thursday, December 5. (Please note: we're looking for something more than a free champagne toast added to an eatery's regular menu.) Send information — the basic who/what/when/where and how much, as well as anything else you'd like to tell us — to email@example.com.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
