On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society's favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers' winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Lola will join the fiesta, serving its shrimp ceviche (no, not the dish that earned this coastal Mexican restaurant an unlikely Best Chicken and Waffles in the Best of Denver 2013).

"We are a Mexican fish house," says executive chef Drew Hardin. "So we try to do traditional Mexican food with a twist. This dish fits perfectly." The shrimp are cured in lime and orange juice, tossed with de arbol aioli, grape tomato pico and topped with melon salsa.

DISH runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sunday 22. (VIP ticket-holders get in at noon.) For more information about Westword's annual celebration of the Denver dining scene, including how to buy tickets, visit our 2013 Westword DISH site.

And for a different taste of Lola, stop by the restaurant tomorrow for Street Taco Tuesday. Every week, Lola roasts an entire -- and different -- animal outside; call 720-570-8686 for more information.
