This city is about to start rolling in dough! On Tuesday, Denverites will finally be able to dip into Dunkin' Donuts. At long last, the beloved East Coast institution will have a stand-alone store in the metro area (there are already three in Colorado Springs): The spot at 366 Broadway is set to open at 5 a.m. September 24.

The shop is owned by father-and-son team Brad and Buzz Calkins (yes, Buzz is the famous race-car driver); they're slated to open a dozen Dunkin' Donuts stores in the metro area over the next five years.
And that's not counting the 24-hour Dunkin' Donuts that will open next Tuesday morning at Final Approach, the new waiting area outside of Denver International Airport.
That facility by the Conoco will have three other eateries, as well as free Wi-Fi service, a children's seating area with iPads built into tables, flight information display boards...and indoor bathrooms! Watch for updates next week.
