New Belgium is a bike-focused brewery, which organizes two-wheeled tours, encourages people to turn in their cars for cycles, and even has custom bikes made. But unless you work at New Belgium, where those cruisers are stored and gifted for years of service, the only way to get one is to win it.

Tonight you've got a chance at Ernie's Bar & Pizza.

The restaurant, which has become a real go-to spot in the Highland neighborhood, is teaming up with the brewery to hold Ride Your Bike to Ernie's Night. If you walk in the door after 3:30 p.m. today, you'll be given a raffle ticket to win the custom-made bicycle.

The winner won't be announced until between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., and you must be present to win. Fortunately, Ernie's menu has plenty to keep you busy -- including excellent selections of both pizza and beer, that time-honored combination.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
