Beer Man

Fall beers, flood relief and Oktoberfests highlight our weekly beer calendar

As quickly as the floodwaters rose, Colorado is organizing benefits to help those affected, and bars and breweries are no exception -- especially those in Longmont, Lyons and Boulder where some of the flooding hit the hardest. One of those benefits is Longmont's Oktoberfest, organized by Left Hand Brewing, but there are also efforts being organized by Oskar Blues, Avery, Upslope, Wynkoop and Star Bar. You'll find some on the next page, but Cafe Society will post a larger compilation later today.

For all of this week's regular craft beer events, turn the page.

KEEP WESTWORD FREE... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
