Cliff Young and his son, Zach, opened the doors of baRed this past weekend -- very, very quietly. But beyond those doors was a stunning renovation of the old stone building at 437 West Colfax Avenue, around the corner from CY Steaks, which Cliff Young also runs.

More than just a bar and lounge, baRed will also have a grab-and-go area for breakfast and lunch; that service won't start until next week, after the espresso machine is installed. But the bar will definitely be open tonight and Christmas Eve, and the bar menu will be available.
