The Flatirons Food Film Festival is much more than a food-centric film showcase. The five-day festival will feature five nights of food related films, unique meals, workshops and discussions about the art, politics and science of food.
The film festival starts rolling at 7 p.m. tonight with a celebration of the documentary Craft at a craft beer-pairing dinner at BRU handbuilt ales & eats, 5290 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Tickets cost $50; to reserve a spot, call BRU at 720-638-5193.
The programs continue through Sunday at the Muenzinger Auditorium in Boulder. During the festival, audiences can feast on five food-centric feature films as well as several shorts paired with beer tastings, a performance by Opera on Tap, chef presentations, beer dinners, gastronomy demonstrations, tours of a farm, and more. Ticket prices vary from $7 to $25 depending on the event. For more information, visit flatironsfoodfilmfest.org.
