Bruce Randolph was a legendary Denver restaurateur who offered free Thanksgiving meals at the barbecue restaurant he founded in 1963 at the age of sixty. Randolph passed away in 1994 and his Five Points restaurant is long-gone, too (an outpost of Daddy Bruce's Bar-B-Que closed in 2012
). But his legacy lives on in Keep a Light in the Window

Crested Butte Mountain Resort is taking advantage of the light of the moon during the new monthly Full Moon Experience at the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks. Participants can take a self-guided skin or snowshoe tour to the top of Ten Peaks and warm up inside the Umbrella Bar while enjoying a buffet dinner under the moonlight, including fondue, salad, soup or chili, dessert and one complimentary wine or beer; additional beverages will be available for purchase. Music Director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Josep Caballé-Domenech will be behind the bar tonight with several other local celebrities at Colorado Mountain Brewery
to raise funds for Philharmonic community outreach programs. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. attendees at this free event can sip brews and order grub; all tips collected from the celebrity bartenders, and 10 percent of sales from Colorado Mountain Brewery, will be donated to the non-profit organizations. Today is National Margarita Day, and quite a few restaurants around town are celebrating with deals on the tangy tequila cocktail. MAX's Wine Dive
will be offering guests buy-one-get-one-free margs all day long. The Blue Bonnet
has all-day discounts on its House Margarita ($3.50), perfect margarita ($4.25) and blue margarita ($4.25), all made with Sauza Blue Reposado tequila. And Fire Restaurant
in the Art Hotel on Broadway is slinging a Fire & Blood Orange Margarita made with Peligrosso Blanco tequila, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, blood orange and lime.
The Big Red F restaurant group is also mixing discount margaritas at three of its restaurants. At Lola Mexican Fish House
, the first 100 Casamigos tequila coin-style margs will be free once the doors open at 4 p.m., and happy-hour pricing will be in dffect for several other tequila-based cocktails. In Boulder, Centro Latin Kitchen

Oak at Fourteenth
co-owners Steven Redzikowski and Bryan Dayton are bringing back their popular "Roast" dinner series, which pairs roasted meats with delicious drinks. Tonight's dinner begins at 6 p.m. and features quail and pork loin as the roasted meats of the night; served alongside pours from Anvil Wine Company. Ticket are $75 each with wine pairings.
