Hey beer drinkers. Do you like free beer?
Well, you can have one tonight at the quasi-private Web Awards party we're having at Casselman's, 2620 Walnut Street, to celebrate the best of the web in Denver. Boulder's Upslope Brewing and Denver's Strange Brewing will be pouring until they run out.
Quasi-private, yes, but for fans of Café Society's Beer Man or Twitter followers of @ColoBeerMan, all you have to do to get on our guest list is be one of the first 25 people to leave a comment below on why you want to attend. Then, fill out your name and a valid e-mail address and we'll e-mail you details on the party.
Don't worry: We won't send you spam e-mail, just an invite for you and a guest. Bring it with you or show it at the door on your smart phone.
The Web Awards honor dozens of local bloggers, Twittering promoters, Facebooking business people and regular folks who've shared some of the coolest content on the web in the past year. Meet the judges of the 2010 Westword Web Awards here.
Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
