Patio of the Day

French twist: Aix Restaurant & Wine Bar

What? You're still at your desk? Get up and get over to Aix, the charming French bistro on 17th Avenue, which has a lovely patio and an even lovelier happy hour. From 5-7 p.m., you can order from a list of five different small plates and five different speciality drinks, each $5.

And make a note that next Friday, Aix will be grilling on the patio, as well as "jamming the tunes and playing sidewalk games" -- in true July 4th fashion. Special bonus: $2 cans of beer, plus a shot cart!

Ooh la la!
