From oysters to ectoplasm, choose your goo and go with it today. It's National Oyster Day, and both Jax and Oceanaire are celebrating by shucking up some great deals. And over in Governor's Park, Lala's is showing Ghostbusters for free and serving some snacks to go with the flick. Keep reading for all the gooey details.  

It's National Oyster Day, and to celebrate the holiday, each Jax location will be dishing out the first hundred orders of a half-dozen fresh-shucked oysters for free. The deal starts at 4 p.m. today; for more information, visit jaxfishhouse.comOceanaire Seafood Room is celebrating this aw-shucks holiday by offering chef’s select oysters for only $1 from 5 p.m. to close. For reservations, call the Oceanaire at 303-991-2277. 

Lala's is bringing the silver screen to Governor's Park today: The restaurant will be putting on a free screening of Ghostbusters in the park starting at 8:15 p.m. There will also be a beer garden where the restaurant will be selling pizzas, Peroni drafts and wines by the glass. Proceeds will be donated to Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods; for more information, call the restaurant at 303-861-9463.
