LoDo is hotter than ever, with new bars and restaurants opening in anticipation of the return of Union Station -- but for Gatsby's, the neighborhood has gone cold. The wine bar that opened at the end of 2012 in the home of another defunct wine bar, The Wine Loft, has been closed for the last few weeks...without explanation. "Some lights are still on inside," one LoDo resident reports, "and all the inside 'stuff,' including the bar bottles are still in place.... It is a mystery! Any ideas?"
We're stumped, too; so far, no one has responded to the messages we've left on the Gatsby's voicemail. There's no sign on the door indicating the space's status, and the website remains unchanged.
