Here's a taste of what's on the menu for this week.

Monday, November 19:

It's Community Night at the Kitchen, 1530 16th Street. The family-style dinner -- proceeds from which will go towards gardens in public schools -- costs $35 and starts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are required; call 303-623-3127 to do so.

Tuesday, November 20:

Tahona Tequila Bistro, 1035 Pearl Street in Boulder, offers $2 tacos every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to close. Call the restaurant at 303-938-9600 for more information.Wednesday, November 21:

El Diablo, 101 Broadway, and Sketch, 11 West First Avenue, are hosting a "Holiday Spectacular" over Thanksgiving, starting with today's "reindeer petting zoo" at 5:30 p.m. and a holiday lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. There will also be food and drink specials at both restaurants through the weekend; call 303-954-0324 for more details.

Central Bistro & Bar, 1691 Central Street, is hosting a Hurricane Sandy benefit dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. this evening. The family-style, four-course meal costs $45, and 75 percent of the proceeds will go towards hurricane relief. Call the restaurant at 303-477-4582 for more information.Thursday, November 22:

Happy Thanksgiving! Cafe Society will be taking the day off to eat and drink with family and friends, one of the greatest pleasures in life. And this year, we're offering a special thanks for all of our readers.

Bramble & Hare, 1970 13th Street in Boulder, is hosting a holiday dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. this evening. The farm-inspired feast is pay-what-can, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Boulder's Community Food Share; call 303-444-9110 to RSVP.

Saturday, November 24:

Cook Street School of Fine Cooking, 1937 Market Street, is hosting a holiday bread-baking class from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today. The cost is $89 and includes lunch with wine; call 303-308-9300 to grab a seat.
