Good Sauces Make Good Neighbors: Biju's Is Closed Tonight, but Park Burger Lends a Hand

Biju's Little Curry Shop is closed today for a private event, but owner Biju Thomas doesn't want customers who show up to be completely disappointed. In a neighborly gesture, Park Burger — just around the corner in the same 2601 Walnut building in RiNo — agreed to lend a hand. Today's special, as listed on Thomas's Facebook page, is a lamb burger topped with tomato mint jam, crumbled feta, onions and Biju's fiery adacherri sauce made with tamarind and bird's eye chiles.

Just ask for the chef's special and prepare your tastebuds for Park Burger's juicy lamb and a slap of South Indian heat cooled by sweet tomato jam. Biju's will be open again tomorrow for normal business hours (11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
