Still not sure what to do for Mom this Sunday? Here are four unique brunches that still have openings.

And if you know of any other fun Mother's Day activities, feel free to post them in the comments section below:

Mercury Cafe, 2199 California Street, will feature a special menu for brunch and dinner, along with live music all day; mothers and grandmothers will also be presented with a free bouquet. Call 303-294-9258 to RSVP.

Arugula Bar e Ristorante, 2785 Iris Avenue in Boulder, is offering an a la carte menu featuring handmade pasta, local produce and meats. Call 303-443-5100 to reserve a seat.

The Ritz-Carlton, 1880 Curtis Street, will host an interactive brunch featuring a special menu and buffet, a build-your-own bouquet flower station, a photographer to commemorate the moment and balloon animals for the kids. Brunch costs $69; call 303-312-3800 for more info.

And Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, 1601 Arapahoe Street, is the site of a Mother's Day Brunch with live entertainment from the 17th Avenue Allstars and food from Hands of Thyme Catering. Brunch begins at 11 a.m. and the all-ages show takes place at noon and again at 2 p.m; visit the website for more information.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
