I've had many bad experiences with Cognac, so when the bartender suggested I try a Cognac-based drink named "Year of the Dragon," I had mythical monster-sized doubts. But since the Year of the Dragon is almost a memory, I mustered up the courage to slay another fear in 2012. And happily, this combination of Cognac, oolong tea simple syrup (made on site) and local Dram "Hair of the Dog" bitters did not have me breathing fire.

Can you guess where I'm drinking?

Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to the week's Guess Where posts is entered into a pool -- and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who'll receive an EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants.
