November is off to a fast start, with Quaker Steak & Lube opening its first store in Colorado, the homegrown Egg & I chain opening its 41st restaurant and the owners of Seoul BBQ opening Q Table BBQ.

And on Monday, after two weeks of practice, The Village at Edgewater also officially opened its doors at 5700 West 25th Avenue. "Searching for a healthy alternative to fast food, yet still want a place where your kids will feel welcome?" asks the web site. "Leisurely enjoy your meal while your children play in our 1,500 square foot play area, conveniently located within line of sight from any of our tables." The restaurant is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks -- and also selling take-home dinners ($20 for two; $50 for six). For more information, call 720-398-9444.
