After two weeks of downpours, it looks like we're finally turning a corner: The forecast for today, thankfully, promises sunny skies and temps in the high 70s. And if you're ready to hit a patio after being cooped up, you might want to head down to the Four Seasons tonight for the opening party of the Level 3 poolside bar.

The hotel built the venue to have a Miami-like vibe, edging the pool with a bar that serves beer, wine and summer-themed cocktails paired with heavy appetizers like tuna tartare and Kobe beef sliders. And instead of roping the swanky spot off for hotel guests, the Four Seasons decided to open for the Denver public -- no reservation or special list privileges necessary -- every Thursday night, starting tonight, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
