McCormick's -- an outpost of the McCormick's & Schmick's chain in the elegant Oxford Hotel -- may be far from the coast, but it's close to all the action in downtown Denver.

Patio hours: Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight; Friday and Saturday ,11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Seats: About 40

Smoking: One side is smoking and one is not

Specials: Happy hour, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays 10 p.m. to midnight

Patio perks: Covered and umbrellas

Busiest time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.; 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. every day; on Rockies game days

Slowest time: Mid-afternoon and late at night

Most memorable moment: It'd probably be St. Paddy's Day. This place is crazy on St. Paddy's Day.
