Rise and shine! The seventh Modmarket opens today in downtown Denver, at 900 16th Street. The fast-casual, farm-to-table concept opened its first restaurant in Boulder in 2009, and the homegrown chain is anticipating doubling in size this year. And there will be more locations to come in 2014.

In fact, Nation's Restaurant News named Modmarket won of its five "2013 Hot Concepts" winners last fall. "This acknowledges our progressive style, commitment to sustainability and our creativity as well as ability to bring a delicious healthy meal to customers for about $10," said cofounder Anthony Pigliacampo of the honor. "At Modmarket, we are about bringing healthy, affordable options to the marketplace because we think people want to eat food that is delicious and might actually make them feel better. And, we want to make the communities we serve better."

Modmarket will be serving the downtown Denver community from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends. Find out more here.
