Yesterday, we invited Cafe Society readers to enter to win two seats to the soft opening of Olav Peterson's new restaurant, which opens in December.

We asked you to guess the name of that restaurant based on clues that were hidden in the story we wrote back in July announcing Peterson's departure from Bistro One and his plans to open a restaurant-cum-garden-cum-farm somewhere in Denver.

Did you win?

You did if you're name is Evan and you guessed Bitter Sweet, the two words that make up "Bittersweet," which is the name of Peterson's new restaurant.

Evan, please send your full name and e-mail address to lori.midson@westword.com, and we'll let you know how to get in touch with Olav so that your name is on the list of invites to the soft opening.

We'll have another contest tomorrow -- and this one will be all about location.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
