The Whiskey Throwdown & Doughnut Showdown took place on Thursday, combining three of Denver's hottest food trends: local small-batch spirits, fancy doughnuts and ampersands. Participants included Leopold Bros., Stranahan's and Fireside on the booze side of things, and Lamar's, Voodoo and the Donut Maker on the sweet side. Photographer Jake Shane was on the rooftop of Battery 621 to capture the sugar rush and whiskey sipping.
