What's for dinner tonight? Pizza. You might as well eat it for lunch, too. Because today all 25 of the Anthony's Pizza & Pasta locations will donate 25 percent of their sales to flood victims in the Longmont community. So by eating good New York-style pizza, you'll be doing good. Anthony's is a Colorado-based chain helping Colorado; find information on all of the Anthony's locations here. See also:

And you can eat more pizza, this time Colorado-style, for a cause: During its "Feasting for Felines" promotion today, all five Beau Jo's Pizza locations will donate 20 percent of pre-tax sales to the Cat Care Society in Lakewood. Find more information at catcaresociety.org.

And if you simply cannot get enough pie, Pizzeria Locale in Boulder will welcome Caleb Schiff into the kitchen to toss top-quality pizzas. Schiff is a former geologist-turned-chef and owner of the acclaimed restaurant Pizzicletta in Flagstaff, Arizona. The restaurant will be offering a special three-course meal for $18, with wine available by the glass. Call 303-442-3003 to make reservations; walk-in tables are also welcome.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
