Pizzeria Basta, at 3601 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder, is on a roll.
After opening early this year, it managed to lure crowds of diners to a location hidden in an unlikely apartment complex in east Boulder. In the process, Pizzeria Basta picked up enough steam to introduce several innovations this summer: It took on the state's sous vide approval system, started proffering housemade pastas, and planted an urban garden.
And finally, to please Boulder diners who want a place where they can eat wood-fired pizzas seven days a week, Pizzeria Basta has expanded its hours: It's now open Sundays from 5 to 10 p.m.
