Is there such a thing as Colorado-style barbecue? Anna and Jonathon Ortlieb, the couple behind Happy Camper BBQ, think so — because they say they've invented it. The two plan to have their mobile barbecue kitchen open by the beginning of June, serving smoked pork with a Colorado twist: Instead of standard barbecue sauce, the meat will be doused with green chile. But one reader isn't impressed. Says Kirk:
There is no such thing as "Colorado barbecue"...hell, there isn't even good barbecue of any kind anywhere in Colorado!
What do you think of the Happy Camper idea? Of barbecue in Colorado in general? Where do you go for barbecue?
