Have you made your reservations for Valentine's Day yet? Some of the city's most romantic tables — the fireside spot at Barolo Grill, for example — were booked months ago. But earlier this week we published a list of the Ten Best Date-Night Restaurants in Denver, and some of those spots still have prime-openings on February 14. Another reader favorite, Potager, doesn't even take reservations — but it isn't open on Sundays, so you'll have to celebrate early there — and you won't be alone. Says Judy:

The hipster places can come and go, but Potager is forever. Teri Rippeto's restaurant just keeps getting better. This restaurant is a real treasure in Denver, and my favorite date-night place.

Adds Claudia:

Potager never disappoints.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
