The space at the Tabor Center that's now home to Ambria, chef/owner Jeremy Kittelson's restaurant that opens today, was a Ling & Louie's just two weeks ago...but it's undergone an amazing transformation.

Still, it's hard to focus on the surroundings when the dishes look as good as they did in our photographic sneak peek of Ambria. Lori Midson's pictures had food fans salivating:

Robert Pinz was a little less tongue-tied:

Wow, beautiful photos. It would appear that Mr. Kittelson can cook. These snaps rival the Wooden Table foodography for sheer artistic value. They certainly should be hung somewhere! If not at Ambria, maybe the Museum of Contemporary Art?

Get over to the Tabor Center this week and see these masterpieces for yourself.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
